"How can we increase access to fresh, local food while still maintaining the profitability of our region's farmers?"
As part of the GOOD Ideas for Cities initiative, we were given this Portland-based urban challenge by the Portland Farmers Market. We worked to tell the story of Portland farmers and Portland food-eaters as we devised artful interventions into the urban environment and the psyche of the city-dweller as a means to change the habits of Portlanders and create more demand for farm fresh food.
This project was a collaboration with Justin Flood and Sarah Baugh. Working as Sincerely Interested, we presented our ideas at the GOOD Ideas for Cities Portland event that took place on February 16, 2012 at Ziba Design, hosted by Portland State University Graphic Design department.
