Who is this girl?
Nicole Lavelle hails from the foggy shores of San Francisco's Richmond District. She spent her formative years getting into mischief in middle Oregon and then followed the rain north to Portland. She graduated from Portland State University in 2010 with a degree in Graphic Design and a handful of publishing, printing and design internships under her belt.
Curiosity, adventure and exploration keep Nicole moving. She asks a lot of questions. She makes objects, she makes friends, and sometimes she speaks without thinking.
She is available for collaborations, hire, trade, walks and talks.
What is she up to recently?
Nicole is a Creative Person at Pinball Publishing, an eco-friendly offset print shop located in Portland. She has helped build Scout Books from an exciting new project into a thriving brand. She is an editor of Bangback, an online journal dedicated to print culture. She has worked as an Art Director at the Portland Mercury, and was the Director of the Friends of Graphic Design at Portland State University
